| In 2014, James gave his thoughts on the 2014 film, and although he enjoyed the movie, claiming that he actually saw a Godzilla movie, he complains that there's not enough Godzilla in it, the design of the MUTOS "weren't original" and "felt a little too cliché." However, he wishes that this movie was released earlier rather than the 1998 film. In his re-review of the film in 2016, he pointed out many more of its flaws.
