It doesn't really matter what you intended to do at some undefined point in the future. Once you edit a page, that's what the whole Internet sees when they visit it.
Rope, for pity's sake, all we have to do if we think something is plagiarized is put a couple sentences for it into Google. If it is, the source will be the first result.
