As someone who eats up world-building in kaiju stories like candy, I would have loved to see most of this in the film. Ford's brief statement is pretty much exactly what I wanted out of him at the end of G14 too. I think the part about the Oxygen Destroyer should have been phrased more professionally though (even Fox might balk at directly citing "conspiracy theorists"), and mentioning Jonah is unnecessary, since he's entering the movie pretty soon anyway.
