Well, hello there. I'm Kulaas! Also known as Raven, Umbra, or Crescent. Call me whichever you like, as the other side of my profile said.

Godzilla history

Well, with regards to Godzilla, I became involved with the franchise very early on, having been introduced to the 1956 re-release of Gojira when I was around three. I then saw the English re-dub of Mothra vs. Godzilla, and subsequently, Terror of Mechagodzilla. Was the biggest fan of KoTM, out of them all. As life went on, I then saw Godzilla's Revenge (Eck), Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, and Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S, which then culminated in 2014's Godzilla, and 2016's STELLAR Shin Godzilla. The latter of which is a movie I'll praise until the day I die. So good.

Was never a really big fan of the campier films, with the "Godzilla is a hero" motif, hence why I never really watched them. I always loved the films where he was an allegory to nuclear testing, forces of nature, the like. Of course, where it's done properly.

A pseudo gray area like 2014's Godzilla where he acted heroic inadvertently is fine. But an area like the mid-Showa? Nah, not a fan.

Miscellaneous information

I love gaming. I tend to game on the Xbox One platform, as my PC is kinda sucky for now. Games I love include Halo, Gears of War and Battlefield. Bigger fan of immersive shooters and racing games over anything. Although I do tend to dabble with RTS like Supreme Commander and Halo Wars 1/2.

With that, I'm also pretty competitive and tend to try my hardest to win. Doesn't stop me from being properly expressive and respectful though.

I also have a lot of wiki experience under my figurative belt. With it I've grown a massive fondness for writing, and have begun undertaking a blog post with a Wordpress site to speak about things I like, and theories I have. Nothing is currently up yet past some test blog posts, but I'll try and hopefully get some blogs out soon!

My writing also goes hand in hand with my love of books, and reading. With that said, I'm a massive introvert, and with that I tend to be quiet a lot of the time. Just wanna put that forward because people seem to question why I just sit in the chatroom, more so than others, and I can get why it'd feel odd.

Finally, I also dabble with graphic designs, cover art and the like. Recently I've been starting to make cover designs for OST (original soundtrack) covers. My initial one was this. I've also made one for Halo 4, but have yet to upload it.

A deep analysis of Godzilla, his evolutions, coupled with the film's music and what its lyrics could mean with regards to how Godzilla's presented and what he could allude to, figuratively, literally, and metaphorically. Honestly, I'm really proud of this theory I have going.
