The Dogfighter (ドッグファイター Doggufaitā) is a swift and highly maneuverable jet fighter that appears in the 2004 Godzilla film Godzilla Final Wars.
History
Millennium era
Godzilla Final Wars
The Dogfighter was deployed from the Gotengo to destroy the shield of the Xilien Mothership. The pilot, Katsunori Kazama, flew the Dogfighter towards the ship, fighting off Xilien Fighters as it approached one of the external ports. Once inside, Kazama piloted the Dogfighter through the ship and to the shield generator. Kazama sacrificed himself by crashing the ship into the generator, destroying the shield in the process.
