Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Godzilla: Oblivion is a five-issue comic book miniseries from IDW Publishing. Written by Joshua Fialkov and illustrated by Brian Churilla with colors Jay Fotos, it ran from March 30 to July 27, 2016. When Dr. Elias Talbert successfully opens a doorway into another dimension, he and his colleagues find this alternate Earth overrun with kaiju, the largest and most terrifying among them being Godzilla. Godzilla's nemesis King Ghidorah escapes into the original dimension, forcing the humans to bring Godzilla through as well. However, Godzilla soon proves the greater threat while King Ghidorah is converted into a cyborg to fight on behalf of humanity. To make matters worse, the inhabitants of the alternate Earth soon send the rest of their monsters through as well. |
