The M4A3E8 Sherman Tank is an American battle tank manufactured by Ford Motor Company. It appears in the 1957 Toho film, The Mysterians and several kaiju films.

The M4A3E8 Sherman Tanks appeared to attack the Mysterian Dome, but they were melted by the Dome's weaponry.

The tanks appeared to attack Mothra.

King Kong vs. Godzilla

As Godzilla made landfall, he arrived near a military base. A group of Sherman Tanks rolled into battle but were set on fire by Godzilla's atomic breath, the heat is given off by the beam being intense enough to literally melt the heavily-armored vehicles.

The tanks appeared to fight the attacking Mu Empire.
