Son of Kong, originally released as The Son of Kong,[a] is a 1933 American giant monster film directed and produced by Ernest Schoedsack and written by Ruth Rose, with stop-motion effects by Willis O'Brien. Produced by RKO Radio Pictures, it is a sequel to King Kong, which released earlier that same year. The film stars Robert Armstrong, Helen Mack, Frank Reicher, John Marston, Victor Wong, Lee Kohlmar, and Ed Brady. RKO released it to American theaters on December 22, 1933.
