I’m quite sure he and Carlos were in on it together, as they are known friends. Without giving away anything too personal, the IP that came up for the account’s earliest activity (so introducing himself) traced to Carlos’ location, but all subsequent activity I could find pointed to Zillaman’s location.

Zillaman’s now trying to argue that he was just borrowing a friend’s account and not impersonating him, but I don’t buy it. As I said, I couldn’t find any edits from the account that were verifiably Carlos, and he obviously wasn’t going to give away his identity, so he allowed everyone to believe he was still Carlos. Not to mention that the account also took credit for a Twitter page that Zillaman operates, so he was clearly trying to pass it off as Carlos’s.

It seems to me like he got Carlos to set up an account for him and then was going to use it for as long as he could. But either way, he was knowingly evading a ban, so I don’t care too much about the explanation.
