Template:Infobox Kong of Skull Island Kong: of Skull Island #4 is a comic book by BOOM! Studios. It was released in October 2016.

Plot

Shortly after the siege began, Ewata regretted setting sail, and felt that they may have had a better chance remaining in the fires of their home than with the demons of Skull Island. The Kong Tuno and Takani were great assets to the fight and brought down many of their reptilian assailants, which inspired one of the handlers of the Atu Kong to send them into close combat, but this resulted in the death of an Atu Kong called B'lan, who was fatally wounded by one, but in an attempt to save the life of her fellow Atu Kong and lover, used the last of her strength to tackle the two assailants off a cliff and into the mouth of a green aquatic reptile. Elsewhere, the humans had begun to construct a wall with the few survivors of the earlier ship. Ewata was then reunited with her cousin Sani the storyteller, and she divided the citizens into groups that would finish the wall before shelters were built, and another to scout and look for vulnerabilities that would need to be walled in. At that point, an Atu Kong named Janu surfaced on the island after it had swam from Tagu island to save its people. Shortly after, the ship carrying Queen Usana arrived and she told the people that their island had fallen into the sea, and that Tagu extremists killed King K'reti for having betrayed the Tagu people by marrying an Atu. The Kong on the island then became very restless just before the Shaman jumped off of the boat unseen by the crowd and emerged from the sea claiming to have seen the island crumble and to have awoken standing on the seafloor before walking onto the shore, and declaring it a sign of his connection to the gods and that the humans were sent to Skull Island by the gods to conquer all of the island.
