Plot

Years since their arrival, the Kong all live in the wild and have become something of a myth. Valla continued her fight with the other Kong, whose child, named K'in, ran away in fear only to be taken up by Pterodactyls, who then attacked a group of humans. They decided that the infant Kong had to be killed because it was male and the two adults are female, so they had to eliminate the species. K'in's mother however, took up the attackers and squished them in her hands. Valla then took up the infant K'in and began to run away. K'in's mother took chase but eventually fell into a faulty mine shaft, where she was killed by falling debris. Valla then delivered K'in to Ewata over the wall, and she began to raise it alongside K'vanni, leading some to fear that when she took the throne she would take the Kong as her king. Out in the abandoned mine shaft, the Kong awoke to find itself surrounded by monsters.
