Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah

Major Spielberg was stationed in the Marshall Islands during the Pacific War in 1944. When the Futurian time machine KIDS arrived from 1992, rocketing towards Lagos Island, he and his commanding officer concluded that it was extraterrestrial in origin. Major Spielberg offered to report the sighting, but his commanding officer persuaded him not to, saying, "You can tell your son about it when he's born."

Historical Liberties

While Steven Spielberg's father Arnold did enlist in the United States military during World War II, he served in the Air Corps, not the Army, and was stationed in India. Steven himself was not born until 1946.
