McDonald's is an American global chain of hamburger restaurants headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. In 2023 and 2024, McDonald's Japan collaborated with Toho on a Godzilla vs. McDonald's campaign for the 70th Anniversary of the character.

Godzilla vs. McDonald's
In December of 2023, McDonalds began lottery distribution of Be@rbrick figures of Godzilla and the McDonaldland characters Birdie, Grimace and Hamburglar. Additionally, on January 5, 2024, McDonald's will begin offering three Godzilla Burgers consisting of a Smoky Pepper Chicken sandwich, Cheese Double Teriyaki, and the Thick Cut Beef and Potato. The commercials for the campaign are based heavily on the Heisei series, featuring a replica MogeGoji suit, appearances by the Cosmos, and a McDonald's mecha housed in a G-Force styled hangar.
