The Summary line didn't give me enough room to explain why I deleted the "anachronism" trivia item again, so I'll say it here: Military equipment tends to remain in service for a long time; for the same vehicles to appear in films set twenty-seven years apart is hardly an anachronism, especially since they are all fictional and Destroy All Monsters makes no reference to their history.
