I feel I have to explain some of my changes to Godzilla misconceptions.

First, I aleady explained in one of them that Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. took place one year after Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and in another one that Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah took place three years after Godzilla vs. Biollante (i.e., in 1992, not 1991). Remember, the 1990s Heisei films occurred one year after their years of release in Japan.

Second, my writing of decades (e.g., 2000s) has to be correct, because it's grammatically incorrect to put apoostrophes on plurals. People have done this and similar errors (e.g., "who's" when it's supposed to be "whose") more times than I can count.

Third, my statement that the Heisei Godzilla at 100 meters tall was twice as large as, and even more powerful than, the first Godzilla, has a source. It came from the Godzilla section at the back of The Illustrated Godzilla Compendium (although I don't know what pages this was on offhand; all I know is it was two pages long). Further, the readiation from the nuclear sub did cause Godzilla to grow in size as well as neutralize the ANEB, so I don't see why this was removed.

Fourth, in King Kong vs. Godzilla, King Kong, after being struck by the lightning bolts, didn't strike Godzilla, he grabbed him with his hands, causing shocks to flow through his fingers onto Godzilla (btw, I took "strikes" to mean "punches"). I've seen the film dozens of times and it does show this.

Fifth, "Giant Venus flytraps" is correct. The word "Venus" is always capitalized in the plant's name and isn't a small "v" (I don't know, however, if it's meant to be the planet or the goddess).

This is just what comes to mind right now. However, if I've got the wrong user talk, please pass this on to the right one. if I'm right, however, please, let's talk some more. i'm sure we can work this out. Thanks!

Your edits are being reverted because while you are making several grammatically correct edits, they are mixed in with countless unneccessary, pedantic, or outright incorrect edits. It's easier to just revert them en-masse and go back through and make the necessary corrections (though in the case of reverting the List of minor Toho monsters page, that was an accident).

I have told you before that Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah is set two years after Biollante. In the movie and supplementary materials, they repeatedly state it has been "two years" since Godzilla fought Biollante. That is because Godzilla vs. Biollante is set in 1990, not 1989. So 1992, in which Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah is shown to be set, is two years after 1990.

The King Kong vs. Godzilla edit is incredibly pedantic. Kong repeatedly punches Godzilla in the final battle after being charged with electricity as well as grabbing him.

Not all of your edits are wrong, but as I said many of them are completely bizarre, unneccesary, or in some cases factually incorrect. The reason some of your correct edits are being reverted is because they are mixed in with dozens of other edits that need to be reverted. Other staff members and I have repeatedly tried to bring this to your attention, but most of the time you seem to ignore us and continue making the same edits.

Okay, thanks for telling me. I thought that only the 1990s Heisei Godzilla films took place one year after they occurred. i didn't know this included Godzilla vs. Biollante as well. Now, just to make sure, this doesn't include The Return of Godzilla does it? I mean, that one still occurs in 1984, not 1985, right?

i'd like to put back the correct edits if I can. Which ones are they so I know what to put in and what not to?

The date of The Return of Godzilla is inconsistent, however it appears to be 1985 according to the Godzilla Memorial Lounge in Godzilla vs. Biollante. They still say it was "30 years" after 1954, which while it's technically 31 is close enough I guess.

Any of the removing apostrophes from decade names needs to be re-done, and you can re-add the bit about Godzilla increasing in size after feeding on the sub. I imagine you can use your judgement for other edits such as fixing capitalization and grammaer.

Thanks! One question: was the nuclear sub in the Bering Sea when Godzilla fed on its radiation? I just put that part in, but I'll take it out if it's wrong.
