I asked Toho Kingdom about this. So far, no answer, but I'll keep you posted.
Personally, I don't think they made the Monster Waves' names up. I mean, they've got everything there is to know about the game, right down to the smallest detail. I think this should be taken into consideration here, if nothing else.
