Minus One just dropped, so our developer team is working on developing Minus One as a battle piece. I had gotten an interesting bug report from a player... He said that he was playing Ranked until he encountered a bot. He deployed his Eva-01 but suddenly the game when silent. The healthbars started to go crazy. By this time, no other units have been deployed except his Eva... and it fell limp to the ground, with blood starting to spill into a puddle. According to the report, it said that a "shadowy figure appeared with an illegible word before I seemingly lost the match." We gave him feedback, but the player seemingly quit. Perhaps he was spooked out. Whatever this anomaly is, we must fix it. We have received a similar report during the Gigan 2004 Update. When the player was training, an anomaly appeared and seemingly made him lose the match. It's a spooky but harmless bug. I'm sure we can fix it by next week. >December 10, 2023

>Log 2 >Strange. We have not found anything in the code that includes a strange anomaly appearing as your pieces die a horrible death on screen. We started getting more reports of this anomaly showing up, and we told one of our employees to try finding it. He took his best pieces. What happened next almost killed him. It took an hour but soon his Minilla fell limp, then he put down his Godzilla Earth. However, his Earth stared directly at us, black liquid pouring out of his eyes. Suddenly, he fainted as the screen started glitching again. This really is a nightmare. We tried contacting Toho themselves... but they refused to answer. That man is in the hospital right now. This bug... it's getting dangerous. I... I need help. I might need to contact the authorities. Because this... is a NIGHTMARE.

>January 13, 2024 >Log 3 >People seem really hyped for Minus One. It's making us BANK. Anyways, about the anomaly... we haven't found anything in the code and Toho seems to have gone silent. Are they purposely hiding something from us? I've gotten a report from Sir Melee. He said that his Minus One started to decompress and fall apart just like the movie. I mean, it's cool. But not intentional. These graphic deaths seem... odd as our lead developer didn't implement anything that resembled graphic deaths. And that time when we tried to defeat the anomaly...That man had a seizure, and was screaming before letting out a cry similar to Godzilla's... how? He passed out and died. It seems like he was possessed or something. I'm afraid this anomaly might start attacking young people, since this is a kids game. I dread the time when this error in the code starts leaking into the main game. >January 25, 2024 >Another incident. This time it was worse than the others. One of our developers were testing Ginza Godzilla until he encountered the Anomaly. Our team immediately rushed to the computer. He deployed his Ginza until he just... froze there. I think he had a hallucination, as he began flickering his eyes rapidly. Black liquid began pouring out of his eyes like how the previous man's Earth did. I took one peek at the Ginza and it was the most horrifying amalgamation that I could not describe. I quickly looked away until the man fell onto the ground, dead. Toho would not say a word. So we had to do something we never thought we'd do. We need to create something to fight it. In the game's code to attack it whenever it appeared. A Guardian.

The Anomaly has been taking over multiple people, and we need to find the answer. About that guardian I mentioned last time…

He’s complete. We are planning to dispatch him against the anomaly. We added him to our deck to kill it. The stats? 99999999 HP. 99999999999999999 Damage. 0.1 Cooldown. We didn’t really need to make a model for him, but they made him look like Gipsy Danger. (A huge troll to those who want a Pacific Rim collab) But that’s beside the point. We were ready. The tester was wearing special gear in case something bad happened. Eventually, in a Night NYC stage, the G89 started morphing into an eldritch monster, and the sky turned red. We deployed The Guardian (Or Gipsy) and as the two beings clashed, we anxiously watched on the screen as they both delivered the first blow….

>Gipsy started attacking the anomaly fiercely, but the health bar was glitching out. He started shooting his laser, but it seemed to do nothing. However, the anomaly let out a massive shriek. We programmed Gipsy to stun units infinitely, but the anomaly seems to have stun resistance like Ultraman. Nonetheless, Gipsy started to relentlessly attack with his 0.1 second cooldown. The Anomaly’s HP bar was glitching. But eventually, it let out a massive scream. We all cheered in the room, but then Gipsy started getting cremated… As he burnt to ash I felt like something changed in Gipsy. We tried to deploy him again but instead he gave a thumbs up… and the whole map glitched out. I have a friend named ThatOneKaijuFan that is a master at coding. I contacted him the other day and asked if he could find the anomaly in the code.

Nothing. No anomaly reports so far. He is gone. I think. Did Gipsy do it… at the cost of our battle piece? Heh.. it’s just a game. I’m heading to ThatOneKaijuFan’s place right now to see his progress on the cause of the anomaly. He called me earlier today and claimed the code had something to do with Ishiro Honda… but he died in 1992. My hairs are tingling for some reason and I’ve just arrived at his house. Awkwardly…Oh.. As I saw ThatOneKaijuFan’s face stare directly at the screen, I just watched in awe. What was he watching? Suddenly, He let out a ghastly scream. ThatOneKaijuFan’s face turned to me. And his eyes were a pale white. Was he possessed? He started choking me. HARD. Thankfully, I knew some moves and kicked my friend away. He looked at me, soulless. I gripped him on the neck, and his pupils returned. So he was possessed. I heard a quiet sound. His GBL match turned from a bloodbath to a simple bot match. ThatOneKaijuFan breathed a sigh of relief. We both agreed on the same thing. Get Gipsy back… somehow and contact the authorities. We thankfully know a government official very well…

We immediately met Les the next day, hoping to see if he could investigate Toho. That darn company cannot hide forever. He went straight to the company, requesting that he see what is wrong with GBL. To be honest, he looked scared when Les stormed in. Like he’s some kind of administrator. We saw what Toho was doing, and ThatOneKaijuFan almost fainted. We saw some kind of crime scene, blood everywhere. It was like they tried to contain something. Cohozilla shrewdly told us that there was something wrong with Toho studios. Fleshy bits were scattered everywhere. There were many walls written in Japanese with scratchy black ink、 like: ホンダ、助けて、自由にして、眠りたい、私は一人じゃない. That’s strange. Not even Coho knew what was going on.

And that’s when Les requested he send us to the concept room. “It may be worse than before.” Coho said. We stepped into a dark hallway. “Weird, these lights are blocked out by… sludge.” Hedorah? The lights were physically glitching in front of my eyes, like static. The walls were seared with English messages, like it was burnt by ATOMIC BREATH. Soon it got darker, and Les pulled out a flashlight. We started wading through thick webbing… like it was made by a Moth. Then we saw some scorched ceilings with lava dripping… like something came out of a Volcano… and we saw bite marks in groups of three, then floral growth… then spider webs… and then a multitude of grotesque crystals opened the entrance to the concept room. Cohozilla looked scared, and he had a right to be. We opened the door. And we saw a grotesque figure. An amalgamation of Hedorah, Biollante, Rodan, King Ghidorah, Godzilla, Mothra, Kumonga, and Spacegodzilla. It roared at us like it wanted to be free.
