She took an immediate liking to this series, entertaining herself with all of the films, various games, and many, many toys. She'd pretend to be the titular monster on various occasions in her childhood, play out nonsensical yet still entertaining scenarios with her sibling, and even made arts and crafts of him and some of the other monsters he had fought or befriended.

As the girl grew, however, it seemed as though her interest in the series had gradually slipped away. While she still liked it very much, it became more of a passive, yet fond memory than an active interest as she was taking up more interests and had growing responsibilities to tend to.

It seemed that the series had faded from her interests until one fateful day, when a movie telling the tale of a kamikaze pilot's personal war and struggles with the beast had released. Suddenly, the girl, now a fully-grown woman, saw her love and interest for the series had rekindled into a newly-reborn fixation.
