In the year 2024, Godzilla attacked an Apex Cybernetics facility located in Pensacola, resulting in eight deaths and dozens of injuries. Conspiracy theorist and Titan Truth Podcast host Bernie Hayes had infiltrated the Apex facility to expose their shady practices and discovered what had been luring Godzilla: a large mechanical component for Apex's Mechagodzilla project.
