Pensacola

Pensacola is the western-most city on Florida's Panhandle, noted as one of the largest cities on the Gulf Coast and home to a significant US Naval Air Station that serves as the home base for the famous Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron. The city appears in Godzilla vs. Kong.

Godzilla vs. Kong

In the year 2024, Godzilla attacked an Apex Cybernetics facility located in Pensacola, resulting in eight deaths and dozens of injuries. Conspiracy theorist and Titan Truth Podcast host Bernie Hayes had infiltrated the Apex facility to expose their shady practices and discovered what had been luring Godzilla: a large mechanical component for Apex's Mechagodzilla project. Believing in a connection between Apex and Godzilla's aggression, Madison Russell and her friend Josh Valentine would seek Bernie out and they returned to the damaged facility, finding their way down to sublevel 33 and a high speed subterranean transport tunnel that would take them to Apex's headquarters in Hong Kong.
