Mr. Tako (多胡部長 is the advertising department director of Pacific Pharmaceuticals and a supporting character in the Tako Buchō, lit. Director Tako)1962 Godzilla film, King Kong vs. Godzilla.

While only his surname is spoken in the original Japanese version of the film, John Beck's English cut of King Kong vs. Godzilla reveals Tako's given name as Yoshio.

King Kong vs. Godzilla
Tako was the advertising department director of Pacific Pharmaceuticals, who attempted to boost ratings on their television program by mounting an expedition to Faro Island to capture footage of the island's monster. On watching news footage of Godzilla, he decided to capture the Faro Island monster and bring it back.
