Conveniently, we also have a new Godzilla era now. Should it be noted that this (Post-Millennium) era will likely be renamed to whatever Japan's new era will be? While, yes, Shin Godzilla and the anime trilogy were released as Heisei era films, that didn't stop The Return of Godzilla from being classified as a Heisei era film after being released in the Showa era.
