Hiya, you'll probably remember me as that logo guy from one of Les' topics, well I need your help with getting something straight. You see as a side hobby I like messing around with the logos and posters of the films, when recently doing this I extracted some of the logos from the International title cards and posters to make reconstructions of the International versions of the films. While that isn't necessarily significant to my question, what is is that because I extracted some of the logos from the International posters/title cards I was wondering if I could upload my extracted logos for TROG and vs. Biollante since they appear to be higher quality images compared to the ones currently used on the nav-boxes, not saying this to brag, my work is still amateurish and I presume TROG's logo on the navbox is extracted from one of the VHS tapes of the International version so I mean no offence. I also noticed that the GvB logo that I extracted uses the International "VS" logo compared to the one on the navbox which uses the thinner "VS" used on the US VHS. I didn't want to edit the navigation logos without your permission since I noticed you were the one who uploaded them, I was also given warnings/disclaimers when attempting to upload my versions (as a test edit) and I didn't want to cause any issues when uploading them, so I would be greatly thankful if you specified how I edit files uploaded to the site. If you want to see what the logos look like beforehand I'll try and find a way to link them.

P.S. In case you're wondering, the two sources for the logos was a higher quality version of TROG's poster (which I uploaded onto the site) and an International pamphlet for GvB (also uploaded onto the site).

hey man! Sorry for leaving you hanging, work has been killing me. The Destoroyah logo will be hard to extract due to the shimmer effect, but I can try it. I like thr SONY logos, and the vhs one is a bit tall for a navbox, but we've fudged that kind of thing before (see GMK lol). That said you can just upload them as new files without overwriting the others. Again I'd love to see what you mean if you have any visuals :)

That said i think the ROG one is taken from a VHS rip or maybe the DVD... so pretty much anything would be better than that lol.

Anyhow, you can upload new versions of files to overwrite them, but given that these are distinct enough, they should be alright by themselves.

If you arent comfortable with your skill level, you can link me images of the ones you propose are better and I can get to work on them.

Having a few issues with uploading Biollante's logo right now but I'm sorting it out. If you need to downscale them (if you like them) then be my guest.

Like I said, I’m an amateur and the TROG logo I extracted is only slightly better than the current navbox one. I’m sure that when 84 eventually gets a 4K Blu-Ray in Japan they’ll include the export trailer as a bonus, then I can just extract that and recolour it to match the red logo.

Hmm. I'll keep it real with you man, the photos we have available for the VHS covers are a bit hard to work with due to their size/distance/coloring from the camera snap. That said, I'll see what I can do.

While these are official English logos in the context of Toho in general, they are not material from Toho International proper. Just wanted to put that out there, but I'm sure y'all are aware of that.

Hey Space Hunter M, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Toho International logos for any of the Heisei/Millennium films from Mechagodzilla II - Megaguirus (aside from the International title cards which I’m not counting on here). Though if I were to guess, Toho International’s logos for these films would probably be very similar to the ones seen on these covers as the retail VHS cover for Godzilla vs. Mothra uses a similar logo used on the International pamphlet I recently uploaded onto the site, plus the Megaguirus font is the same on both the VHS cover and the International, superimposed, title card (not a big thing but I thought it was worth noting).

Wow, just looked at your version of the SpaceGodzilla logo, it’s beautiful. Great job man.

Update: Found an even higher quality source for the International TROG logo, uploaded that and the GVB logos onto the navboxes. You can delete my separate files for both the TROG and GVB logos.
