So, do we add it to the scrapped monsters? Cause this ain't Mothra. https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1108878629166919821/1223449254903943189/20240327_010358.png?ex=6619e4e8&is=66076fe8&hm=070d47784ffd0da35379e4e51c5181998587640f45f91442e93a5d87e46bd21a&=&format=webp&quality=lossless

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've been told that mural does appear onscreen. So bit of a weird situation. I guess that technically makes it canon, it's just that the majority of its role was scrapped. Hoping for some more info in the upcoming art book.
Pretty sure fosphera doesn't have any official information out there, everything we know about it is through leaks and Unverifiable info.
Hopefully it's in the art book.
My guess is they didn't know if their Mothra contract was up or they where in the process of renewing it so they had ol Fosphera as a place holder?
Personally I think they put too much effort into the model for it to have been a placeholder. I think they just realized Mothra would sell better.
Wonder if it will ever show up later down the line.
Well, we got the scrapped monster Spirit Tiger appearing later in comics, so there is hope for Fosphera.
I mean they got a mostly finished cgi model.
Got some quotes from Adam himself. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/380931995179679744/1224040971004542996/IMG_7411.jpg?ex=661c0bfd&is=660996fd&hm=e93c80e0d1f07fbbfb8d0753e655cad1f9ae86fca5302d0aedf34e26cb041ade&
Fosphera was basically a failsafe incase they couldn't aquire the rights to Mothra again.
Think this got addressed on the page.
