King Kong was imprisoned in the Phantom Zone along with other notorious villains of the LEGO multiverse. He was one of the villains freed by the Joker as part of his plan to exact revenge on Batman and destroy Gotham City. Kong was defeated when Robin crashed the Batmobile into his face, knocking him unconscious into the water.
King Kong is one of the various villains previously trapped in the Phantom Zone after the Joker is sent there by Batman. The Phantom Zone guards eventually come to his side after being promised a way out.
 
His release from the Phantom Zone is brought about by Harley Quinn and he is able to wreak havoc all throughout Gotham City. The Kraken and Kong attack the building where Batman and Robin have taken refuge after they have been exiled from Arkham Asylum. As Alfred and Barbara were riding the Scuttler, he dismantled it before grabbing it as he was later spotted in the Joker's revamped Wayne Manor. The Batmobile drives directly into his face to save her after Robin strikes him with it.

King Kong is a giant ape that appeared in the 2017 superhero film, The LEGO Batman Movie. He was imprisoned in the Phantom Zone along with other notorious villains of the LEGO multiverse.

Design

Kong is made by several LEGO bricks, his head shape resembles an ape face with red glowing eyes while his body shape resembles a LEGO Minifigure body with a gorilla-like chest.
