King Kong Encounter was a ride at the Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood which opened June 14, 1986 and was destroyed by the June 1, 2008 Universal Studios fire. The ride was later replaced by King Kong: 360 3-D in 2010. It was based off of the 1976 King Kong remake.
