So I had this crazy idea a few weeks ago: what if I rewrote The Lion King's "Be Prepared" to fit King Ghidorah as he takes command of Earth's Titans?

Crazy, I know, but I went and did it. Wrote up the lyrics, anyway. Well, by that I mean I just tweaked a few things here and there to make it fit better, but I did it.

Well, anyway, here's what I have.

Ghidorah: (spoken) We never thought the Titans essential. They're crude and unspeakably plain. But maybe they've a glimmer of potential, If allied to our vision and brains.

Behemoth: And where do we feature?

Ghidorah: Just listen to teacher We know it sounds sordid But you'll be rewarded When at last we are given our dues And injustice deliciously squared Be prepared!

Scylla: (spoken) Yeah! Be prepared! Yeah-heh! We'll be prepared! Heh! For what?

Ghidorah: (spoken) For the death of the king.

Rodan: (spoken) Why? Is he sick?

Ghidorah: (spoken) No, fool. We're going to kill him. And Mothra, too.

Rodan: (spoken) Great idea! Who needs a king?

Rodan and Scylla: No king! No king! La, la, la, la, la, la!

Ghidorah: (spoken) Idiots! There will be a king!

Behemoth: (spoken) But you said-

Ghidorah: (spoken) We will be king! Stick with us, and this world will belong to the Titans once again!

Rodan, Methuselah, Behemoth, and Scylla: (spoken) Yay! All right! All right! Long live the king!

Titans: (spoken) Long live the king! Long live the king! It's great that we'll soon be connected With a king who'll be all-time adored.

Ghidorah: Of course, quid pro quo, you're expected To take certain duties on board The future is littered with prizes And though there may be some fuss The point that we must emphasize is… YOU WON’T GET A GLIMPSE WITHOUT US!

So prepare for the coup of the century Be prepared for the murkiest scam Meticulous planning Tenacity spanning Our chaotic evil Is simply why we shall Be king undisputed Respected, saluted And seen for the god that we are!

I confess that this is a Guilty pleasure of mine.

While browsing around for KOTM merch, I discovered something from a company called MG Stella. As part of the tie-ins for KOTM, they've produced (and I'm just going by the translation here, as it's a Japanese site) what they call a "limited acrylic stand collection" of all four major Titans in the film.

Anyway, an idea occurred to me: they show full-body views of the creatures. If someone were to get ahold of them, it may be possible to isolate those images and put them up as renders or vectors or whatever you want to call them.

Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances that I would like to refrain from mentioning – for pure privacy reasons, understand – I do not think I am able to purchase them myself. This may seem a bit unorthodox, but I am basically asking that if anyone can get ahold of these things, scan up the images, and post them into the respective monster pages, that would be great. I think we, as kaiju fans, can all respect the benefits of having clear, full-body renders of some of our favorite creatures.
