From Wikizilla, the kaiju encyclopedia

Cybernetic Scream?

Alternate name for the A-74 Proton Scream? In the Fortnite crossover with the Monsterverse, all of Mechagodzillas' items have 'Proton' in the name. Backbling is Proton Exo-Boosters, pickaxe is Proton Drill. Strangely though, his weapon coating/wrap which depicts his beam is called the Cybernetic Scream, which doesn't seem right. Perhaps an error but it seems deliberate as a very early leak detailing the crossover called the wrap by its proper namesake (when translated from Spanish to English) and was most likely changed before release. Not a regional difference either as on release/first "decryption" it was changed to this name in Spanish also.

Original leaker tweet (Grito de protones translated is Proton Scream, roughly)

Decrypted Item Showcase in Spanish when nearing item shop release (Grito cibernético is Cybernetic Scream)

Now released wrap showing its current name in-game

Ultimately minor but it's a very strange change that only makes it stand out amongst its cosmetic set.

Sure, that's fine to mention in the section on the weapon. Does it behave any differently from the film version?--Astounding Beyond Belief (talk) 20:44, 18 January 2025 (UTC)

Should we mention in the Trivia how Mechagodzilla mirrors Galvatron’s portrayal in “Transformers: Age of Extinction”

It’s been on my mind for some time and now I am sharing this thought. We already have the matter of Mechagodzilla's sound effects being derived from the live-action Transformers movies, so wouldn’t it be relevant enough to indulge on how Galvatron's creation is identical to Mechagodzilla's own and both resulted in similar consequences?--GojiraBoy1000 T (talk) Saturday 1:44 am, June 13th, 2026

Can you explain a little more? – Cheese Head (talk) 06:56, 13 June 2026 (UTC)

Galvatron:

Optimus Prime decapitated Megatron in the previous film, burying his axe into the “cranium” and pulling his head and some of the “spinal column” out of his body. This tech-company abbreviated KSI, founded and lead by a rich inventor named Joshua, acquires Megatron's head and the corpses of deceased deceptions so as to develop artificial transformers/cybertronians to protect humanity, especially from the Autobots, who were deemed by the government as a threat to be exterminated in spite of their cooperative history with the US military. Joshua's star creation, given the name “Galvatron”, is intentionally modeled after Optimus Prime. In order to comprehend and create Cybertron life, a living Cybertronian named “Brains” was brought in against his will, forced to translate information from Megatron's head so that KSI can incorporate said information into Galvatron. In doing this, they unknowingly resurrect Megatron and place his spark (“soul”) into the body. According to Brains, Galvatron had been infected by Megatron's chromosomes, hence his takeover of and resurrection via Galvatron.

Mechagodzilla:

Godzilla tore off one of the heads of Ghidorah in the previous film and left it on the ocean floor. This head was eventually recovered by local fisherman and sold to Alan Jonah. Alan Jonah in turn sold this head and a second skull to billionaire inventor and CEO Walter Simmons. With the expertise and genius of Ren Serizawa and Walter's ambition and leadership, the highly-reputed and rich company, Apex Cybernetics, uses the skulls to conceive and achieve the technology needed to run an artificial Titan. This artificial Titan is built in Godzilla's image, purposed with protecting humanity from Godzilla and the Titans as a whole. In order to fuel the machine's immense needs, Apex consistently tries and fails to synthesize any sufficient form of energy, not getting the machine any further than 40% power. So they co-run a mission with Monarch to discover the same power source responsible for spawning and sustaining all life from the Hollow Earth. Acquiring a sample of the desired material, Apex is given the data needed to replicate and produce the Hollow Earth energy. The rushed appliance of the thoroughly unstudied energy together with the use of Ghidorah's skulls (which retain the alien dragon's neurons and conscious even after decaying away the organic material) results in the artificial Titan, Mechagodzilla into becoming possessed and influenced by the conscious of the formerly deceased Ghidorah. The memories and knowledge and personality of Ghidorah are transferred into the controls and onboard AI, turning Mechagodzilla into an essential extension/puppet or resurrection of Ghidorah himself. --GojiraBoy1000 T (talk) June 17th, 2026 morning
