Purpose

Works in tandem with tables using the sortable stylesheet class. Text embedded with this template will not show up while browsing, but is still collated when sorting columns of table text. This allows the creation of invisible sorting aids that help auto-sort sortable tables in an order that is more intuitive to the reader, even if it is not the strictly lexicographic sorting order.

Example

Click on the up/down arrows in the header of the left table column to facilitate a re-sorting of the table rows in ascending/descending order.
