PhilipBy2 is a Wikizilla user who first appeared on the website in the 17th episode of the first season of 2026.
Born and raised in England, PhilipBy2 still lives there to this day. He had been a member of Wikizilla previously, first appearing in the mid 2010s when it split from being hosted by Wikia and assisting in its transition to becoming an independent site, but this was under a different username on an account that is no longer used.
PhilipBy2 has been a fan of the Godzilla franchise and Toho in general as far back as 2014, a few months before Legendary Pictures released their first entry in the Monsterverse. In preparation for seeing it he bought the Godzilla Collection set which contains all of the Classic Media Godzilla releases inside of it, making Godzilla, Godzilla Raids Again, Mothra vs. Godzilla, Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster, Invasion of Astro-Monster, All Monsters Attack and Terror of Mechagodzilla his first Godzilla films.
Since then he has gone on to own a complete blu-ray collection of Godzilla films and has watched all of them multiple times. His favourite era is the Showa era, citing it as such for how varied it is in tones and stories told between films, its use of old school practical effects and costumes and for encapsulating everything he loves about the series, being really fun, entertaining and charming. Although there is no era he truly dislikes, his least favourite is the Heisei era.
Although it is unknown what PhilipBy2 looks like, he has used a profile picture that depicts a green version of Mothra in her larval form, known to some as an uncanny embryo. Whether or not he actually looks like this is unclear, but experts consider it unlikely as there have been no sightings of such a creature in the United Kingdom, let alone in any other part of the world.
