CANAL CITY HAKATA GODZILLA The Destroy Mapping Show (ゴジラ 博多、上陸。,   Gojira Hakata, Jōriku., lit. "Godzilla Lands in Hakata.") is a 2018 kaiju projection mapping show which was held at the B1F Sun Plaza Stage in the CANAL CITY HAKATA shopping and entertainment complex in Hakata, Fukuoka, Japan.[1][2] A 3D-animated short film produced by Zero-Ten Inc.[2] and directed by Shin Godzilla third-unit director Yusuke Ishida[3] was projected onto a 2,500-inch[1][2] surface of the Grand Hyatt Fukuoka building, accompanied by a fountain show synced to the video.

The film depicted Godzilla rampaging through Hakata, and culminated in an interactive portion in which audience members could use a smartphone browser application to help fire missiles at Godzilla, influencing the story's ending.[1][2] Developed by Good Luck 3 Inc., the app could be accessed by scanning QR codes in the area.[2] A preview version of the show which lacked the interactive portion premiered on April 27, 2018, and was held twice a day until that May 6.[1] The complete version was then held twice a day for a full year, from June 1, 2018 to May 31, 2019.[1]
