The Vabaruda (ヴァバルーダ Vabarūda) is a fictional vehicle featured in Godzilla Island. It was piloted by Zagreth until episode 134, when Landes took over. Zagreth later made her return to the Varabuda in Conclusion, the final story arc of the show.
Name
Origins
The Vabaruda first appeared in the first episode of Godzilla Island, "Attack of the Massive UFO!". The Vabaruda invaded Godzilla Island in order to conquer the world and first attempts to conquer Godzilla Island. Godzilla Island was not attacked by the Vabaruda until episode 2, "The Mysterious Spaceship- Friend or Foe?".
Overview
The Vabaruda is a large, grey spaceship. As seen in the third episode of Godzilla Island, Introducing Torema!, the Vabaruda is capable of shooting lime green lasers as well as the Nourishing Akamanda Drink Beam, which can triple the strength of anything in its range. It usually targets Torema's ship, Panna Torte. The Vabaruda is sometimes visited by Dogora, Giant Dark Emperore ror]] and Monster Vending Machines. The Vabaruda's controller, Zagreth is well known for deploying many evil monsters out of the Vabaruda to work for her in order to destroy Godzilla Island and its monsters. The monsters the Vabaruda deploys include SpaceGodzilla, Megalon, Destoroyah, Battra and more. The Vabaruda is also known for being able to do many odd things, such as increase the temperature of the sun. It has abducted many monsters as well such as Junior and Proto-Moguera.

Introducing Torema
The Vabaruda was first seen approaching the Earth from space. It then moved on and began to destroy a city, unknown which one. Then, Lucas saw it approaching Godzilla Island . The G-Guard Commander sends out Super Mechagodzilla, Moguera & Jet Jaguar to fight the Vabaruda. They were instantly destroyed, sent plummeting to the ground. Zagreth made contact with Godzilla Island from the Vabaruda. The Vabaruda was attacked by the Panna Torte and fell back to the island. The Vabaruda then deployed SpaceGodzilla to attack the island.
King Ghidorah
The Vabaruda sends down King Ghidorah shortly after the monsters on the island 'go beserk'. Zagreth is teleported from the Vabaruda have a sword fight with Torema. After Godzilla has defeated King Ghidorah, the Vabaruda sends down its ‘Nourishing Akamanda Drink Beam’ and revives King Ghidorah, giving him triple strength. After Torema uses her Miracle Psychonekis to weaken King Ghidorah, she shows G-Guard and Lucas the tape that shows that the Vabaruda and King Ghidorah invaded her home planet, Torendeiru.
The Trial of Godzilla
After Godzilla is locked up in the conclusion of episode 17, the Vabaruda sends out Megalon and Battra. After the Panna Torte is sighted, Megalon and Battra are ordered to fall back. It is soon revealed the the Vabaruda has sent out a Faux-zilla to destroy the city. The real Godzilla reveals it is a fake, and the Vabaruda propels itself further into space, with Zagreth in rage.
Junior Kidnapped
The Vabaruda sends Megalon to spy on Godzilla Island. Megalon discovers that Junior has been born recently. After Megalon captures Junior, the Vabaruda puts Battra on standby. The Vabaruda sends a message to the G-Guard Base that they will never rescue Junior. Mothra attacks the Infrared Auto-Laser with her pollen and it damages the Vabaruda substantially. The Vabaruda withdraws yet again, following Mothra's attacks. Following Zagreth's temper tantrum, the Vabaruda sends out it's quote-on quote 'ace', Destoroyah. However, Destoroyah is defeated.
Gigan
A M Space Hunter Nebula Alien from the M Space Hunter Nebula goes on to the Vabaruda to give Zagreth Gigan. The show sometimes cuts to inside the Vabaruda, with Zagreth and the M Space Hunter Nebula Alien discussing Godzilla and Gigan. Some of the topics include why Gigan is retreating and seeing what Gigan can do. The Vabaruda eventually orders Battra to be sent out, following Zagreth's second temper tantrum of the show. After, Godzilla defeats Gigan, Zagreth from inside the Vabaruda begins plotting her revenge.
