Description

"One day, a boy living in a rural town in Japan encounters a rabbit with a mysterious brush. Development

Director Keizo Murase originally conceived of the idea for Brush of the God while making The Mighty Peking Man, following a suggestion that he write a film for Hong Kong producer Chua Lam.[2] The Motion Gallery crowdfunding campaign for Brush of the God raised ¥2,600,192, well over its ¥2 million goal.[1] A subsequent Kickstarter campaign was unsuccessful, raising less than half of its $24,272 goal.[2]
