Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Naoki Sato (佐藤 直紀, Satō Naoki) is a Japanese composer. He has composed the soundtracks to both live-action and animated projects, the latter including the television series X and Pretty Cure. He is a frequent collaborator of director Takashi Yamazaki, scoring the majority of his films, including Space Battleship Yamato, The Eternal Zero, the Always: Sunset on Third Street trilogy, Parasyte: Part 1 and Part 2, Stand by Me Doraemon, and its sequel. This has extended to all three of Yamazaki's Godzilla-related efforts: 2007's Always: Sunset on Third Street 2 (which features a brief appearance of Godzilla set to a reorchestration of "Godzilla's Theme"), the 2021 motion simulator ride Godzilla the Ride: Giant Monsters Ultimate Battle, and the 2023 mainline film entry Godzilla Minus One. |
