These Yokai actually appear to have originated from a children's design contest rather than actual folklore this should be mentioned somewhere.

he was a bird man right? probably would never happen but it would be cool to see some separate JJ related mech appear more like a bird in the future.

A suit was made for an appearance on Katsura Kokinji's Afternoon Show, but even that deviated from the kid's original design. So much so that the kid, who was a guest on the show for that taping, reportedly burst into tears upon seeing their rendition of his monster. According to the GvMegalon audio commentary, that suit was used for other public appearances but not much else. Teruyoshi Nakano supervised a total redesign of the character, during which he was renamed from Red Alone to Jet Jaguar.

Yosensha were apparently unable to contact him for All Toho Monsters Pictorial Book, though they knew his name was Masaaki Sano.
