Forum - Thoughts on KOTM Monster Designs?

Honestly I like King Ghidorah’s more dragon-like design (which honestly I made a design that made King Ghidorah into a wyvern) because...it’s noice to see such a better look compared to Anime Ghidorah

I also love how Mothra looks like an actual insect instead of looking like an oversized plush

Rodan: Rodan looks very fierce. The most notable thing about his design is that you can see lava rock and sediment on his wings. He is definitely worth calling “the one born of fire”. I wonder if he might set cities on fire. Combined with the shockwaves he makes with his wings the fire could spread like hay-fever. Mothra: Mothra finally looks like an insect, so that’s always a plus. For some reason I get this Madonna or Goddess like feel when I see her new design, which is probably what they were going for. She looks truely worthy of her new title as “Queen of The Monsters”. Ghidorah: He looks absolutely terrifying (that’s a good thing). From how big his toy was and how big he looked in the little clip we got he seems massive! All the faces on the head either have this really mean snarl or super evil smirk on them. My favorite part is the spikes on his heads, their like a crowns. A “devil with three heads” indeed.

Godzilla looks good. Ghidorah looks more dragon-like. Mothra looks more moth-like and fierce. Rodan looks like a flying volcano.

I dig them!! Ghidorah looks absolutely terrifying especially with the recent photos they put up of him.

King Ghidorah's new look may very well be my favorite design for the character. I think the others look decent; Mothra is a little strange, and I was never exactly fond of the Legendary Godzilla.

I feel the same way, but legendary's Godzilla is growing on me. Just like Shin Godzilla's design grew on me too. And the Shin Godzilla design is interesting and at the same time disturbing lol.

I love them. Godzilla looks a little wider in the thighs and stomach from some angles and it kind of bugs me, but I love everything else about him. Rodan looks like Rodan and it's cool. The head is perfect. At first, I didn't like Mothra's design and preferred the fan-made drawing of what a modern Mothra should look like, but the more I look at the details and stuff and compare it to actual moths, the more it's grown on me. King Ghidorah is just flawless. The wings look amazing, he's leaner in the waist, his necks are nice and long, and his heads look like dragons from Game of Thrones or the Hobbit and I love it.
