Kong & Me
We've been treating the blue tentacles coming out of the ocean in Kong & Me as a Mire Squid appearance. However, we now know that they don't live in salt water, and there's an enormous oceanic monster with blue tentacles in Skull Island. Kong & Me precedes the series by a few years, of course, but we know the latter was written way back in 2020.
