Hi Ani Mate, I know it's been a while since we've talked I hope you're doing well.
I saw that you were trying to bring awareness of the first four Heisei Godzilla films being available on the Criterion Channel and from what I could tell was it didn't look like what you were pointing out was drawing much attention from other users but if I understood you correctly you wanted to talk to someone about this exciting news. In that case I'll probably be the first person that has come in and would like to discuss that with you.
I agree it's very good news, I would be more excited if they had all the Heisei films though it's just doesn't feel the same without the last three, hopefully they'll get them soon. Let me know when you're back online and we can discuss this exciting news as well as what we would like to see and even what we feel we could live without.

Hey man, don’t worry I’m doing well. It’s always nice to chat with you, Gojo.
Yeah, guess I really did just want to discuss the news with someone, I can understand people’s possible reasonings for not making a big deal about it on the site but I just thought it would be neat to talk about the subject anyhow. In that case, I appreciate your consideration in regards to chatting with me about the announcement.
GvMGII-GvD not being on The Criterion Channel is understandable due to those films’ rights being with Sony for the time being, though the first four being added all but confirms that Janus/Criterion are aiming to acquire the rights to the Japanese Godzilla films, at least the ones from 1954-2004. Definitely hope this leads to a Heisei and Millennium box set in the future because I would really like to watch these films in the UK without having to resort to importing or piracy.
I still do regularly visit the site from time to time, it’s just that there’s not much I can think of adding to it as of recently. I am working on a sandbox for Frontier Enterprises (the company that dubbed Ebirah, SOG and DAM) but I’m waiting for The H-Man to reply to a few inquiries I have about the company before I continue work on that. I may even do future sandboxes for other dubbing companies like Titra/Titan and Axis if there’s enough info about them out there.
Hope you’re well.

Thanks, it's always nice to chat with you as well, I feel the same way about the site, I add things in from time to time but not often, I've been working on a sandbox for TV airings on Toho films that I've taken a few months break from but should continue at some point. I've been starting with just airings in the US but eventually I plan to extend it to other countries as well including the UK, when I get to the UK part I'll probably need your help for BBC and Channel 4 listings since many of the Showa era Godzilla films were on those channels. Good luck on your Frontier sandbox I hope you consider doing those other ones for Ttira and Atlas, I'm sure there will be many people that will find those very useful. I'm pretty sure The H-Man will get back with you soon, the best to my knowledge is that he usually visits the site between the end of one month and the beginning of the next.
I've heard UK fans such as yourself have unfortunately been isolated to Godzilla films with the exception of VHS releases from then 90's and then the Criterion boxset from 2019. I think I can live without the Millennium films but definitively want to see the Heisei films. Thanks for sharing the rights deal on the last three films that explains a lot. Hopefully it won't be much longer before Criterion gets those.
