The Tricephalon is a kaiju that only appears in the 1979 HG Toys playset, Godzilla Battles the Tricephalon.
Design
The Tricephalon is a three-headed, quadrupedal monster similar to King Ghidorah. Given his serpentine appearance, Tricephalon also bears resemblances to the Ancient Greek mythological creature, the Hydra. Tricephalon also has a spine sail similar to that of a Dimetrodon.
Abilities
Laser beam
The Tricephalon's only known ability was that it could fire some sort of laser beam from each of its three heads.
Trivia
- Tricephalon is similar in name and appearance to the Marvel Comics monster Tricephalous.
