Anna Otonashi (音無 杏奈,   Otonashi An'na) is a human protagonist from the 2004 Godzilla film, Godzilla: Final Wars. She is left out of the action aboard the Gotengo so that there could be a human left if they failed.

History

Millennium Series

Godzilla: Final Wars

Anna works for a Television company called Nitto TV and interviews people on what can be assumed is her own show. She is the first person to realize that one of the people she had interviewed was not human, on account of how he did not blink. She is shown to be intelligent, using her own dog, and letting the Xilien disguised as Secretary General Daigo believe that it was his dog in order to expose him. Her role in the film is minuscule after the Gotengo departs, and she only re-appears at the end.

Personality

Anna could easily be described as being intrepid and down-to-earth, as these qualities would more easily allow her to identify the Xiliens in disguise. She also seems the most fearful, or most human member of the cast, as she is frightened when Douglas Gordon shoots a Xilien next to her, and runs for the protection of the group after X shoots his superior in the head.
