GAMERA -Rebirth- Production company GAMERA -Rebirth- Production Committee

GAMERA -Rebirth- (GAMERA (ガメラ) -Rebirth (リバース)-,   Gamera Ribāsu) is an upcoming animated Gamera production developed by Kadokawa and the GAMERA -Rebirth- Production Committee. Though it has not yet been announced as to whether it will be a series or film, it will stream worldwide via Netflix in 2023.

Marketing

On November 17, 2022, Kadokawa launched a website and Twitter account for GAMERA -Rebirth-, along with uploading a brief teaser trailer to YouTube. It did not provide any details about the project aside from two teaser images: one depicting the outline of Gamera and and the other being a closeup of his eye. The website included a comment from Heisei Gamera trilogy director Shusuke Kaneko, expressing his enthusiasm and support for the project and reiterating that he had completed a proposal for a Reiwa Gamera film, which he intended to pitch to Kadokawa again after completion of the animated project. The website also announced that GAMERA -Rebirth- would stream worldwide on Netflix sometime in 2023.
