Guardian Monsters
The Guardian Monsters (護国三聖獣 Gokoku San Seijū, Three Guardian Holy Beasts) is the collective term for three mighty beasts that would arise to protect Japan from a mighty force. They appeared in Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.

Godzilla X Varan, Baragon and Anguirus: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack
Shusuke Kaneko originally wanted Anguirus and Varan to be the other two guardian monsters to fight Godzilla in Godzilla X Varan, Baragon and Anguirus: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack, but Toho changed it to Mothra and King Ghidorah, due to the marquee value of their names.
