Terra Incognita is a kaiju who appeared on the television series Chibikko Special, which aired on Tokyo Channel 12 in the early 1970s.[1] Terra Incognita later starred in a manga titled Search for the Phantom Monster Terra Incognita, published from September 2004 to November 2005 in Tokusatsu Ace.

Terra Incognita is Latin for a territory that is unknown or unexplored.[2]
Design
Terra Incognita appears to be a green humanoid with a long, reptilian-like body. Terra Incognita appears to have a cartoonish face with exaggerated lips, rectangular gapped teeth, a small pig-like nose, exaggerated cheeks, and a pair of binoculars tied around its head with a large white strap. Both its arms and legs appear to be very short. Its hands and feet seem to have bright white nails, its toes having sharp claws, while the nails on its hands appear to be round and stubby. Terra Incognita seems to have three long fingers on each hand and three toes on each foot. The back of Terra Incognita's body is covered in spikes, which run up to the top of its head. Terra Incognita's tail appears to be very similar to that of a crocodile or an alligator.
