"An origin story implied to apply to most of the series' monsters"

4
Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Is there a specific part in Godzilla: The Series where all of the mutations are specifically pinned on the French? It's been a while, but I don't recall that.

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

I'm going off what it says on the origin for the C-Rex's page as well as the second episode of season 1 "New Family Part 2" where General Hicks and Nick say:

Hicks: Where'd that thing come from anyway?

Nick: Same place as Godzilla, and if you ask me its just the tip of the iceberg.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

That's much too vague. The C-Rex page should make it clear that Nick's just speculating, and it shouldn't be copied over to other monsters' pages.

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Alright got it. I'll remove origins from both the Bacillus page and Armillaria page.

New MV Godzilla info

7
MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

This is a list of new info that I am about to add to the MV Godzilla page:

(Atomic Breath) When Godzilla charged up his atomic breath to drill into the Hollow Earth, his entire body glowed blue.

(Durability) Godzilla vs. Kong: The Official Movie Novelization author Greg Keyes said when Kong hit Godzilla with the axe, Godzilla wasn’t knocked out but was stunned by the blow to the head.

Link: Shingojira123 on Instagram: “Author of the novelization for GVK saying that godzilla was stunned by the blow from the axe screenshot from @highflyerstagteam”

(Physical abilities) He was able to flip the ship that Kong was being transported on. Godzilla vs. Kong: The Official Movie Novelization suggests that the ship was modified ship to carry close to 100,000 tons.

Link: Shingojira123 on Instagram: “Screenshot from the GVK novelization showing that Godzilla was strong enough to flip a ship that could hold 100,000 tons of titan…”

(Physical abilities) Even after not resting for 2 years since his fight with Ghidorah his tail is strong enough to send Scylla bouncing across the ocean like a stone skipping on water.

(Radiation absorption) The opening credits of Godzilla vs. Kong says Godzilla can absorb energy from his enemies during battle.

Link: (12) Godzilla vs. Kong | Full Movie Preview | Warner Bros. Entertainment - YouTube

At 6:07, underneath Godzilla it says "Notes: Able to absorb energy from other sources and enemies during battle. Bio-nuclear system triggers atomic breath neutron flux travels to nucleosynthetic chambers in…". Forgive me if its blurry but I could only get a clear shot of what it says by watching the movie itself through my phone on Apple TV.

(Trivia) Godzilla Dominion writer Greg Keyes confirmed when the Kong that invaded Godzilla’s original lair drove him out, he was “a much younger Godzilla” out.

Link 1: Shingojira123 on Instagram: “Author of the GVK novelization and Dominion confirming that when the Kong drove Godzilla out of his home he was “a younger Godzilla”…”

Link 2: Shingojira123 on Instagram: “Author of Godzilla Dominion again confirming that when the Kong drove Godzilla out of his original lair he was younger.”

Evidence that proves Zo-zla-halawa is not Godzilla and that Godzilla is not the only one who has atomic breath:

1. If Zo-zla-halawa is Godzilla that would mean the MUTO’s, where the G14 novelization said that the MUTO's evolved the ability to use EMPs to stop Godzilla's from using their atomic breath, if Godzilla is the only member of his species to have atomic breath that would mean that the entire MUTO species evolved EMPs to counteract the ability of one member of an entire species.

2. In the B roll footage for GvK there’s a scene that shows a mural that has Godzilla’s firing atomic breath and Kong’s with battle axes fighting a blue Godzilla like monster that has wings and is in front of a space background that is also breathing fire You can get a better shot of the mural itself and a full wide shot of the deleted scene in the art book for GvK.

3. Godzilla Aftershock writer Arvid Nelson also confirmed that Dagon could also use atomic breath.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)
  • I don't think "his entire body glowed blue" is an accurate description, although he definitely displayed more bioluminescence before unleashing that particular ray.
  • Better sourcing is needed for the highflyerstagteam conversations with Greg Keyes, since they don't seem to be on their Instagram. Where did you find these?
  • Regarding the ship, it would be more useful to know how much the ship itself weighed.
  • "Even after not resting for 2 years since his fight with Ghidorah" seems completely speculative to me.
  • "Able to absorb energy from other sources and enemies during battle." This describes a Ghidorah ability, and it's right next to text about him. The next sentences are definitely talking about Godzilla though... could be another error. Not clear enough.
  • The shingojira123 screenshot is good info.
  • Regarding Zo-zla-halawa being Godzilla - it's a story within a story, and one that exists only in the novelization at that. I actually think the quote from Keyes shingojira123 got is the best evidence that it isn't true, since he also wrote the GvK novelization and references Dominion in it constantly. As to your other points:
    • You've gotta prove that the G14 novelization and GvK novelization are in continuity with each other. This isn't self-evident.
    • The mural in Kong's temple depicting Kongs and Godzillas teaming up against a winged Godzilla is not shown in the novelization or even alluded to.
    • Arvid Nelson didn't work on Godzilla vs. Kong or its tie-in materials, and you didn't inform him of the obscure issue you were trying to resolve by asking your question. His answer certainly didn't sound like something he arrived at after consulting other MonsterVerse writers. Dagon having atomic breath can go on his page though.
MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)
Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Nice.

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)
Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Yes.

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Alright. I'm also going to add the info of Greg saying that in the novelization Godzilla isn't knocked out but stunned and also link it to High flyers video.

Godzilla is not Zo-zla-halawa

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Evidence that proves Zo-zla-halawa is not Godzilla and that Godzilla is not the only one who has atomic breath:

1. SuperZillaRealms (talkcontribs)

Sorry, but the VFX artists did say that it could break the sound barrier (which needs to be at speeds up to 770 mph). But I could be mistaken

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

We would need an actual number to put it down as an actual stat otherwise it would just be a thing he said to make it sound cool

SuperZillaRealms (talkcontribs)

Good point. But shouldn’t we add Godzilla’s Blood volume and Bone tensile? It was featured in the GvK opening and the Japanese theatre pamphlet

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

The blood volume stat and bone tensile strength stat shouldn't be added because those stats are copied from a fan made article and Adam also confirmed that the reason those stats are there is because they were doing a hundred other things at the time.

MV Mechagodzilla edit

22
Bluemind (talkcontribs)

You undid my edit to the MV Mechagodzilla page, implying that the interview I cited as the source for the edit didn't actually support it. It does, in the very end of the inverview.

As you have already mentioned (as a reason to undo the edit for some reason), he stated that Godzilla's loss to Mechagodzilla in their beam struggle was likely influenced by him being tired from his fight with Kong and the beam to the Hollow Earth, and that he thinks things would might have played out differently if that hadn't happened.

What I stated in the edit was that he suggests the Atomic Breath Mechagodzilla's Proton Scream overpowered wasn't the same as the one used to drill into the Hollow Earth, which is exactly what his statement implies. Actually, flat out states. So, why exactly did you undo it again?

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Adam doesn't suggest the opposite anywhere in the interview unless you're referring to when he says "Godzilla and Mechagodzilla fire their beams at each other at the same time right and Mechagodzilla’s actually overpowers Godzilla and I don’t think that that would have been the case if Godzilla’s coming in fresh but I think that he was weakened a bit." Which I don't see where in it he's suggesting the opposite.

Bluemind (talkcontribs)

That quote is suggesting that Godzilla's Atomic Breath was a bit weaker than when he used it to drill a hole into the Hollow Earth, which is the opposite of it being the same as what he used to drill into the Hollow Earth

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Adam had also said in his reddit AMA that he hadn't seen anything from the novel.

Bluemind (talkcontribs)

And...? How does that have anything to do with this?

The novel states that the Atomic Breath Mechagodzilla overpowered was equivalent to the one that drilled a hole to the Hollow Earth, at least that's what your edit states. Adam Wingard heavily implied in the opposite in the interview with Toho Kingdom, so I made an edit that mentions that.

I still don't see what's wrong with the edit I made

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

What are the exact quotes where he heavily implies that it's a normal atomic breath. The issue is also that in the proton scream section it's already going off the assumption that the beam godzilla used was a normal beam so it doesn't need to be added.

Bluemind (talkcontribs)

You literally said the exact quote yourself:

"Godzilla and Mechagodzilla fire their beams at each other at the same time right and Mechagodzilla’s actually overpowers Godzilla and I don’t think that that would have been the case if Godzilla’s coming in fresh but I think that he was weakened a bit."

Bluemind (talkcontribs)

I don't see how the Proton Section section goes off the assumption it was a normal beam. It just states what the Proton Scream is, mentions some of its other feats, unrelated to Godzilla, and then brings up when it overpowered Godzilla's Atomic Breath, immediately mentioning that the novel stated it was the same Atomic Breath that reached the Hollow Earth.

The implication to anyone reading this is that the Proton Scream can overpower the Atomic Breath that reached the Hollow Earth, which, while it may be supported by the novel, isn't all there is to it, and there is reason to believe the opposite, which should be pointed out in the section.

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

That quote doesn't prove anything that's just another part of him saying that due to fighting Kong for three rounds he exercised his atomic breath to its absolute core so he's not at full strength in general during the MechaG fight.

Bluemind (talkcontribs)

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THE QUOTE PROVES.

Godzilla pushed his Atomic Breath too much when fighting Kong, so it was weaker when he fought Mechagodzilla.

Bluemind (talkcontribs)

To put it simply: the novelization says that the beam Godzilla used to dig to the Hollow Earth is the same as he used against Mechagodzilla. Adam Wingard said it was weaker, because of his fight against Kong. As should be apparent to anyone who can read, those 2 statements contradict eachother.

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Wouldn't it just be implying that even though Godzilla used the same beam to drill into the hollow earth during the beam lock that due to being weakened from his fight with Kong that it still didn't prevail because he was weakened.

Bluemind (talkcontribs)

If it was weakened, then it wasn't the same. Unless by "same" you just mean that it's the same attack, as in, the Atomic Breath, which is just redundant

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Why would the hollow earth beam be considered it's own thing, it's the Atomic Breath the only difference being that Godzilla charged it up for a couple more seconds.

Bluemind (talkcontribs)

I'm not saying that it was its own thing, I'm saying that it was different when it comes to power. It was stronger than the one Godzilla used against Mechagodzilla, which was weaker than normal. Your edit implied that, due to bad phrasing that made it seem as if you were talking about their power, as it was redundant to specify it was the same attack

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Why did you remove the fact that the novelization says that it's the one Godzilla used to drill into the hollow earth.

Bluemind (talkcontribs)

Saying that it was the same attack as the one used to reach the Hollow Earth is redundant and all it does is potentially cause confusion and imply both uses of the Atomic Breath had the same power, which has been contradicted by Adam Wingard

Bluemind (talkcontribs)

In response to you undoing my edit again: The information in my edit might already be in another page, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be there too. The section is about the Proton Scream and what it can do, and the strength of the Atomic Breath it overpowered helps know how powerful the Proton Scream is and what it can do.

Either way, the stuff about the novelization still makes no sense to include.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

We treat novelizations as AUs, so Wingard's statement is not actually contradictory, but I don't think the wording in the novelization is conclusive. It doesn't seem like the "Hollow Earth beam" is stronger than a typical blast of atomic breath, just longer in duration.

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

So does that mean what the novelization suggests stay up there or should it be removed?

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

I removed it.

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Okay got it.

Godzilla SP SPOILERS

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

here is where u can post leaks

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Thank you very much so can I unleash the leaks now

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

yep

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Alright so this is from a month ago and the leaker said that varan was one of Godzilla’s forms.

They say the Godzilla bones in the basement is an alien life form that’s not from this world.

Ultima isn’t Godzilla’s final form the final form appears in the final episode in which the final form makes shin look tame.

The rodan with the Godzilla spines, anguirus, salunga, and manda are the only natural monsters aka their the only monsters from this world.

Archetype is a living element extracted from the red substance aka Godzilla’s blood, archetype can be formed into many different types of organic life that lives off it’s own blood like a battery, once it dries up the life form dies.

The megalon spiders are man made kaiju created by the archetype collected from salunga, when they are killed they release their true form hedorah which pilot the body like a shell.

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

so far alot of this could happen

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Yeah my question is how would they make shin look tame

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

a more terrifying design, more disturbing then shins, Shins tail sends shivers up your spine, but with Ultima . . . endless ideas, Everyone though Shin was the horror movie ver of Godzilla...time to wait for the final episode....

Gorogera (talkcontribs)

Where does Mothra fit into all of that? We know she's here because we can see her (or at least, a smaller version of her) on JJ's finger in PV3.

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

I hope im not eating dinner while i watch that last episode, otherwise it wont look pretty

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

For all we know that moth on jet Jaguars finger is one of the many references in the show

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

Thats just a butterfly that lands on jets finger, more likely a easter egg

Gorogera (talkcontribs)
Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

well, it could be a hint at the 2 bug kaiju, Hanenga and Kamanga

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

It could also be hinting at what the Red Mist is

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Yeah I mean those butterflies are possibly what turn into hanenga and kamanga

Gorogera (talkcontribs)

that doesn't make any sense

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

or the butterflies that turn into lights are meant to represent, India,Japan,England and the USA because thats where Salunga - Dubai india , Rodan - Manhattan,Nigashio , Anguirus - Japan , Godzilla aqua/amphibia - Japan Manda - Japan It shows where the monsters could strike or head to on a lighten up globe or map

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

With this leak I get the feeling that the final episode will be something like human kinds extinction

Kaijuzill (talkcontribs)

could you talk about Ultima's roars, does he have a new roar in this series?

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

To my knowledge he doesn’t and I’m not the leaker

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

wait wait, so the Thai title for Godzilla Sp : Godzilla SP : Genesis of Worlds End

Foreshadowing... this series got dark fast

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Oh god it is humanities extinction

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

time to sit back and relax while we enjoy the ride

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Yep I can’t wait to see this stuff in the show

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

so the Megalon and Gigan creatures are Hanenga and Kamanga and Hedorah controls them? interesting... oh well there worlds screwed

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

What if the final form of godzilla looks like a combination of destoroyah and godzilla

Kaijuzill (talkcontribs)

ultima doesn't roar?

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

Ultima does, but its the combo of Heisei and Millenium roars

Kaijuzill (talkcontribs)

that's from the trailer, I meant from the final episode

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

hasnt been released yet, plus thats supposedly his final form i do have a random guess that the silver lines on his neck will glow blue when using his atomic breath and possibly his shoulders might get more spikes

BoopN00dle (talkcontribs)

The leak has been true so far, so it's very likely the rest is too. I am excited.

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

may we have a momment to hope for a season 2 that takes place in the End credit reality

BoopN00dle (talkcontribs)

I bet if the show does well, Toho and Netflix will push for more seasons, so there is likely an 'out' in the final episode allowing for more, I just have no clue what it could be.

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Yeah hopefully there is a season two cause I like this

BoopN00dle (talkcontribs)

Oh! I'm just rambling here, but I wonder if it will be like Godzilla Oblivion with two dimensions, one infested with Kaiju that spread to the other dimension.

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

This had me more excited then the entire Monsterverse series, No offence Titan

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Oh don’t worry while I do like what the monsterverse has given us so far I’m really interested to see where singular point goes

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

The End credits would be interesting to see as a season 2, an Alternate reality where all the godzilla movies except for some of the American ones, all merged in this one universe where its common to see Monsters on a daily basis

BoopN00dle (talkcontribs)

I feel like that would be a cop-out, the world and characters built up in Season 1 gone just because.

BoopN00dle (talkcontribs)
MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Or imagine if jet Jaguar kills godzilla

BoopN00dle (talkcontribs)

that would be cool if handled well

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Well I mean it could but I would find it hard to believe the 15 ft tall robot killing the 300 ft tall dinosaur

BoopN00dle (talkcontribs)

that's why you go for the eyes

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Now I can only imagine jet jaguar trying to stab godzilla in his eye with his spear/sword and as soon as it touches his eye it shatters

BoopN00dle (talkcontribs)

lol

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

well...it could be possible for jet jaguar to grow . . .by altering his coding like in Godzilla vs Megalon to size change himself

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

True if that’s how it ends up happening I’d be fine with it

BoopN00dle (talkcontribs)

That's always been super weird... That's not how code works lol

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

what if Jet Jaguar talked in the SP series like we got to hear him growl before the Rodan flew off into the sky

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Hey so it looks like there is actually 5 forms for godzilla in sp because in the full opening music video at 3:04 you can see another godzilla form that looks more t-Rex like which could be a nod to gorosaurus so then that means that the evolution is aquatilis to amphibias to gorosaurus like form to ultima then to final form

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

dang, there really bringing out old kaiju

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Yes they are and I like it

Kaijuzill (talkcontribs)
Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

Salunga isnt fully dead as you see him move before the seal closes and theres a few scenes of Salunga we havent seen yet, so Salunga may have regenerative properties

Kaijuzill (talkcontribs)

what do you think of Jaguar's pose that Goro told him to do?

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

some of them make me think of Final Fantasy poses when he spins his weapon of Death, and its cool that you can hear the Jet Jaguar "roar" as a start up noise

Kaijuzill (talkcontribs)

Jung is insterted into jet jaguar, here's the Official clip that's uploaded in YouTube, and you can see him doing cool poses, 100 percent official video https://youtu.be/7JQvB_Whv18

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

The leak is real the megalon spiders are like a shell that hedorah’s live in

Gorogera (talkcontribs)

Kamanga literally came from Manda's carcass. The leak says it's manmade. How deep in denial do you have to be in order to ignore all the crystal-clear evidence that the leak isn't real?

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Geez dude what’s your issue okay so I got it wrong my mistake but you don’t have to talk to me like I just insulted you

Gorogera (talkcontribs)

Sorry, I just got a bit too fed-up about it.

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

So the blue Hedorah creatures are still Kamanga/Kumonga/Hanenga in a liquid state.

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Yeah I kinda figured that this “leak” was fake but now there is another “leak” that I am somewhat leaning towards

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

and that leak is?

Gorogera (talkcontribs)

Is it the Salunga/Bagan leak? Or a new one?

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Here is the leak:

Godzilla Ultima and Salunga are both forces attempting to destroy each other but end up bringing the planet into the situation thanks to archetypes manipulation by man.

Skeleton Godzilla was born to stop the use of archetype/red dust in those times, after his battle his physical body died.

Salunga is basically a devil out of hell to destroy humanity and wrap the earth/universe in it’s image, while humans thought they could control it by using it’s body through archetype he had already planned to use the humans and their plan to make him strong enough to defeat Godzilla and combine with the skeleton of the previous body of Ultima.

Ultima was awakened after humans cracked the code with the archetype, now that they are actively manipulating it he has to step in to stop it.

The song coming from the skeleton was used as a signal for humanity to be warned that the end is coming, using the still living material in the skeleton and linked it to a song that closely matched the invisible signal going off.

The Rodan and Manda were destroying anything that gave off the signal (radio waves) that could trigger Ultima’s awakening but were to late.

Now Salunga is actively attempting to escape and stop Godzilla while he’s still in a quote minor form, if Ultima fails universe is reset, if Ultima succeeds, he goes back to sleep.

There is a new kaiju that looks somewhat like Bagan where it has a lion mane, greenish skin and regeneration like orga.

Rodan are a neutral party that can be used by anything that can alter or manipulate archetype, the spread of the red dust is key to both Ultima and Salunga.

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

that kinda doesnt seem true, since Godzilla Ultima has already been evolved, Manda will be fighting Godzilla U and Rodans,Kumonga's and possibly Salunga will be causing havoc across japan .

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Well just wanted to another one just for the sake of it.

Shin evangelion (talkcontribs)

Bagan like creature = Salunga evolution?

MonsterverseTitan (talkcontribs)

Well possibly Salunga evolves into it and there is also a mask in episode 8 that somewhat matches that description of the new kaiju.

There are no older topics
