Hello, if godzilla's weight 164000 tons is not considered cannon then how is his atomic breath 20,000°c considered canon because both were from the film's opening credits.

Just curiousity. Because godzilla's breath in heisei is over 500,000c°. 20,000°c is widely considered temperature of ghidorah's gravity beams (Although not confirmed) because its the temperature of a lightning bolt.
The Heisei Godzilla’s atomic breath is not 500,000 degrees. There has been no proof of that. But even if it was, it’s irrelevant to the temperature of other incarnations’ atomic breath. The 164,000 ton weight is obviously preposterous and directly contradicts his confirmed weight from the previous movie. That doesn’t mean the entire credits sequence needs to be ignored - there is no other source which states the temperature of his beam, so it is worth mentioning.
