Me and my friend were comparing some Monsterverse noises when we (somehow lol) started looking up Cloverfield stuff. Yeah, there's a definite resemblance. Where does this Clover roar happen?

the JP roars are created by sound designer Gary Rydrostorm. Did you check his filmography on IMDB?

Since he didn't work on Cloverfield, I'm not sure what relevance that has.

this process of changing pitches with the roar also happened in the millennium era, which I mean is in GMK ,some of the big G's growls are sampled from elephant and tiger growls and were slowed down and lowered in pitch.

that's the low pitched elephant groan that the trex had in the climax of the 93 film

one roars the alien ship from 10 cloverfield lane does infact sound identical to one of the cloverfield monsters roars.

i think its safe to say one of the aliens roars definitely is modified from the monsters

I don't hear a match either, but pitch-shifted Hud made me smile.
