An official piece of merch called it that though i swore other kaiju with alternate names use that.

There's really no point in having "Jet Jaguar (2021)" in the nicknames when the page is for all versions of Jet Jaguar. We wouldn't put "Godzilla 1954, Godzilla 1955, Godzilla 1962, Godzilla 1964", etc. on Godzilla's page, for example, but you could reasonably put "Godzilla 2004" on the Godzilla/Final Wars page, since it's specifically for that version.

i dont mean to hijack this discussion for something unrelated but correct me if im wrong but

i thought the asylum Monster Hunters isnt getting a page because despite being a mockbuster of Monster Hunter it isn't a giant monster movie.

I also noticed that a few sentai shows are on Tubi as well can those be added to selected or no it is toku and it has giant monsters to my knowledge

We tend to only list Tsuburaya productions. Toei stuff wanders too far out of our scope of interest.

i thought it was within scope because it was japanese/toku that features giant monsters (though usually they are kaijin that get big if im correct) in it plus we have a few toei stuff on the site so i thought it was worth mentioning.

If you check any filmography on the website you will find that we never list Super Sentai or Kamen Rider, etc.

Kamen rider i kind of understand but i assumed sentai was mentioned at least because of the giant monsters

should be addressed on the La Carcagne page somewhere i only put it in the name section because that's literally what other monsters with in-universe lore related names go mentioning the grandfather and the winters tale alone just doesn't seem to be enough.

Yes they do but i think thats the only time the monster is called La Carcagne but im not sure since i only watched half of the film.

Well, I'm late to this, but Sentai, Tsuburaya and Riders all have their own wikis.

They do, but the Ultra Wiki doesn't always cover everything, and there's a lot of overlap in staff members between early Godzilla and early Ultra.

Eh, they're trying their best and have the most complete stuff on everything Tsuburaya.

Not disputing that - but we at least have reason to list Tsuburaya stuff on here
