Vol. is the abbreviation of Volume, not a word. Just trying to make it right.

"Monsterverse Titanthology Vol 1" is explicitly how it was advertised. But we're probably going to drop it from the title anyway, because the final release doesn't seem to have it, and the MonsterVerse Omnibus has probably killed off any chances of future volumes.

Btw, what's wrong with "Kiryu Series" in the List of Godzilla film continuites article? Isn't that the way it's supposed to be written, like when it was written as "Kiryu Saga" before?

"Kiryu Series" doesn't really feel like a proper name in the way that Ultra Series is. It's just a way to refer to the two movies, as in, "The 'Kiryu' series..." If you'll notice, it's been decapitalized from the title of Godzilla (Kiryu series) and other places.

As far as my version of the name was concerned, I was thinking in terms of the other Toho films included in it in addition to Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and Godzilla: Tokyo SOS. That would be similar to Ultra Series, wouldn't it?

Well it encompasses the continuity, but the "franchise" would just be the two movies. I see it as akin to the "Showa series" or "Heisei series." The franchise is Godzilla, the series is the Millennium series, and within that there's a sub-series of two movies called the "Kiryu series."
