The Frankenstein Monster incident

I figure I'd better explain this (I was going to before, but you blocked me before I could).

"The Frankenstein Monster" is a proper name for the character, just like "Frankenstein's Monster" is also (btw, notice the latter is properly spelled with a capital M, because it's a name, not a term). You're wrong when you said the name was used in only one film (i.e., House of Frankenstein). Both House of Dracula and Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein used it, and so have many other non-Universal films (one that has just sprung to mind is Dracula vs. Frankenstein (1971)). So you see, I shouldn't have been blocked for this one after all. I was right and you were wrong. Now can I please put it all back where I had it before?

The issue is not the accuracy of the name, the issue is your continued insistence on standardizing names and such things site-wide on a whim without consulting the staff, then doing it again after being warned to stop. You have clearly not learned anything, and continue to do the same things while maintaining an attitude of smug superiority and no willingness to cooperate with us.

Les and the other staff members agree with me that we're tired of the majority of our time editing the site being spent cleaning up dozens of your pedantic, redundant, and often counterproductive edits and dealing with you immediately complaining on our message walls about it. You had even tried changing all mentions of Frankenstein's monster to "the Frankenstein Monster" in the past only for us to change it back, then you go right ahead and do it again.

Just because a name is used doesn't mean it's automatically the most proper or common name or that you should standardize it site-wide, which was the final straw that prompted your ban. For the record, the "m" in "Frankenstein's monster" is not capitalized, it's a descriptive name and not a proper name.

The fact your immediate response after your ban expires is "You are wrong and I was right, so I am just going to keep doing what I was" tells me all I need to know. You have had so many chances to clean up your behavior and have refused, and nothing we say is getting through to you. I'm sick and tired of this, as are the other staff members. If this is what your idea of editing a wiki is, I can see why you're banned from Wikipedia.

Your next offense will be your last. You will be permanently banned from the site if you pull something like this again. There will be no more warnings or temporary bans.

I did not put the name "the Frankenstein Monster" back into the article; I simply changed "frankenstein's monster" to have a capital M and removed apostrophe-s's where they wouldn't be correct. Please get your facts straight.

Btw, what is wrong with standardizing things? And I'd like to know where it's written down that one has to ask first becore including anything here. Please show me where it is. I'm not complaining, btw, I'm just asking questions, which I think I can do.

You've pulled this "where's the rule?" card before and it has been answered. Your insistence on making arbitrary changes that most of the time are factually inaccurate has long passed the point of grating, and your attitude isn't helping your case. The fact that you would rather argue semantics than just fess up to the fact that you are continuing to do the exact same thing you were banned for, as TKOTM already said, tells me everything I need to know. You are on unbelievably thin ice.
