Ratings will be differentiate throughout countries, so which country are you using for this?

I'm in the U.S., so that's the version of YouTube/HBO Max I have access to.

It's not a problem to have UK ratings listed on the pages, I just can't view them on HBO Max. Though I imagine all the Showa Godzillas got UK ratings by way of the Criterion set if nothing else.

Those can all go in the Ratings fields for those films (ideally with citations)

alot of that info is from IMDb, and i know final wars cause i have dvd. i might check if i was right with godzilla vs king kong(i have dvd), but i know godzilla vs mechagodzilla and g14, kotm, gvk because of amazon prime. on amazon prime, though, shin g is 12 but on a lot of sources it says R. thing is i dont have much citations available, because i dont know if imdb or prime are reputable at all, and if so i dont know if a couple ratings are correct. is imdb correct? is prime? i dont think so, prime said g14 was 15+...why? but this is about showa movies, so i shouldnt worry about further eras.

i just thought... it would be exceedingly difficult for me to find every showa film and put it here. also, i thought i should rename bbfc to dvd, since as far as i know most are not digital so it would obviously be on dvd. but that means the american ones would have to be in that section. i... have no idea rn.

See my edit to the Godzilla (1954) page. You can just edit the film pages directly; I don't intend to publish the sandbox, it was just a way to collect information.

Something to consider: in some cases, these films have been submitted to the MPA(A) and BBFC one more than one occasion. It would probably be beneficial to list the year these ratings were given (where available).

And personally, I would include the classifications for previously-released versions as well. The aim of Wikizilla is to be comprehensive, so I don't see why those shouldn't be mentioned somewhere. Between the classification dates and a reference to Monsters from an Unknown Culture, I think there would be enough context to prevent confusion about multiple ratings for any given film. That's my 2 cents at least.

The political era of Showa ended in 1989, so films from before would be included, right? Like The Return of Godzilla. That needs to be added since it was in the heisei era.

If this is to become a page - something I'm not sold on, and I would again prefer you edit the various film pages - it would include all the films the site covers
